Jacquette Jacobs, MS, LCPC, CCTP, Board-Approved Supervisor is a Mental Health Therapist in Maryland. 
 

She founded Healthy Minds LLC in 2012 with the goal of providing mental health services that meet you where you are.

Ms. Jacquette was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. Her family is of Antiguan heritage. She earned an undergraduate degree from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and a graduate degree from Loyola College in Maryland (now Loyola University Maryland). Ms. Jacquette teaches and believes that Personal Strength leads to Personal Growth which cultivates Personal PEACE OF MIND.

Violet Kamori, BBA

Program Director

Violet was born and raised in Tanzania. She firmly believes in taking care of your mental health as you take care of your physical and spiritual health. She believes Mental health is very crucial to our well-being and that there is no shame in seeking help for your mental health. Violet is encouraged to see and hear people discussing their mental health issues and seeking help.

Lori Hall, BS

Rehabilitation Counselor

Lori is a firm believer that people should always be growing and learning.  She tries to practice and live by the following statement, “If You Don’t Come From a Healthy Family, Make Sure a Healthy Family Comes From You.”

Stephanie Jones

Stephanie has lived in Baltimore City and surrounding communities all of her life.  She decided to work in the mental health field because it’s her way of giving back to her community.  She is  passionate about this field because she sees the difference she is making. Making an impact on individuals’ lives is rewarding because she understands their struggles having family members suffering from mental health challenges. 
Her favorite thing about working in this field is seeing first-hand the improvements in individuals’ daily living. 
Stephanie’s Favorite Quote is “Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Who are you not to be?”

Angela Seabron BSW

Rehabilitation Counselor

Angela has Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and has worked in the Mental Health field for more than 30 years. She believes that it’s a job that keeps on surprising and rewarding her for the time and effort  put in.

Barry Uzoechi, PMHNP

Medical Director

Barry Uzoechi was born in West Africa, Nigeria. He migrated to the United States and started his academic pursuit in healthcare after obtaining his BSN at MSU in West Virginia in 2012. He is married with three daughters. Barry has worked in the healthcare industry for many years and has served in different roles with the sole aim of helping
people and leaving them better than he met them.
Barry is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in emotional health and addiction
treatment. Barry is currently working on his doctorate in nursing practice. Barry believes in positively impacting all his patients and families and contributing to a better future and healthier minds for all. 

Alice Williams, LCSW-C

Mental Health Therapist

Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Alice was raised as an only child. She earned a BS in Human Services from the College of Notre Dame and a MSW from Howard University. Her career includes becoming a certified addictions counselor, obtaining CAC and CCDC, being a team leader for C&A and adult psychiatry at Liberty Medical Center, and working as a consultant for outpatient psychiatry at Baltimore Washington Hospital.
In 1980, Alice opened a private practice – People In Need Counseling Services. She loves to entertain family and friends and is an active member of New Psalmist Baptist Church, in addition to being a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Charlene V. King, LGPC, NCC

Mental Health Therapist

Charlene King is an Ordained Minister, Certified Chaplain, Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), and
National Certified Counselor (NCC), with 20 years of experience in integrated therapy (Truth Therapy (TT), Person-Centered (PCT), Solutions Therapy (ST) and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT). She has 3 years of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) experience and in 2017 founded The GRACE GROUP, LLC, a counseling and PRP support organization. Minister King is an Independent Contractor with Healthy Minds LLC  and humbly aspires to helping it become the most innovative mental health company in the state of Maryland. Her slogan…“Mental Health Therapy empowers individuals, couples, families, the young and young-at-heart, by loosening the chains that bind the mind, body and spirit. Mental Health therapy helps one discover optimum health, freedom and peace of mind.

Candace Richardson

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Candace is born and raised in Baltimore, Md. She’s a Certified Coding Specialist also a Master Braider that loves to spend time with family. She believes as long as God is the head of your life you can never fail!
